Can anyone give me some feedback on the Breezes, Montego Bay resort?
How's the beach? I know their standard rooms are very small, but has
anyone stayed in or seen the oceanfront/view suites? How's this
resort, overall? Thanks!

Ask them how close they are to Sandals Mo Bay. Sandals is 5 star nice
for couples, but the only drawback is that it's right in the take-off
and landing path of the island's main airport. I was visiting there on
a couple day pass. As we sat on the beach every 5 to 10 minutes a
passenger jet would roar overhead. So if Breezes, Mo Bay is close to
Sandals you might want to bring along some major - major sound stopping
ear plugs!

I've stayed at Sandal's by the airport runway 13 times and the planes do
not depart that often. They usually don't fly before 8 am or after
midnight. Just wave, smile and be glad it's not you leaving!

I haven't stayed in the hotel myself, but Breezes is located in the
middle of what they in Montego Bay call "the hip strip" which
is basically the hotel/tourist area. Breezes has their own sun chairs
on world famous doctor cave's beach, which is pictured on the jamaican
fifty dollar note.

Doctor Cave beach is not a GREAT beach, but it's the best one
on the hip strip imho.

They have watersports, boat trips and pool games, from what I have
seen when I've been to doctor cave beach myself.
(It's open to other people, but it's an entrance fee, so its only
tourists on the beach anyhow.)

If you picture a great beach, you should probably go to Negril instead.
Also the hustling is worse in montego bay than Negril, even
tho they have it both places.
